Should I support current kingdom or make my own, truly curious on thoughts! Here’s where I’m at, I’m 130 hours played time. Tier clan 5 around 300 troops and “money is good”. So in my first play through I’m enjoying every bit of this game. However this quest for me on picking sides or my fate in other words is starting to breath
The first step in creating a kingdom in Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord is getting to Clan Tier 4. This means that you need 900 Renown to reach that level. Once that is done, you need to capture some land. Capture a village, capture a castle, or get gifted a castle to create your own Kingdom. Your new settlement needs a Governor.
When it's your own clan, you're in absolute control. You can decide which policies you want to enact in your kingdom. They aren't extremely powerful, but you can have eg stronger militia which is nice. Yes the war is supposed to end, the banner is your justification so you're safe there.

Clan tier 5 almost 6. I own a castle and 2 villages. and I am not part of any faction. When I go into clan tab and look for the create kingdom button there is none. I have the money to sustain 1000 solider army , but when i give troops to my companion they just randomly wander and dont follow me . I can take a castle with my 140 stack of legionnary but i cant keep it because i cannot call my companion to help me
However, sometimes your ruler will die and if you're well liked it's very likely you'll be selected as a replacement. just stick with an existing one to start. befriend lots of lords in and outside of your faction. if you secede you'll lose 20 relation with everyone in your kingdom. don't even bother until your clan is level 6.
To create an Army in Bannerlord, you need to follow these steps: Press the button in the bottom right corner (it looks like three flags). On the left, you will see all the Parties that can join your Army, along with their troops and Influence cost. Select the ones that you want to recruit.
Legatus Lucanus Apr 30, 2022 @ 3:20pm. creating a kingdom in the campaign got changed a few patches ago, it works the same way it does in sandbox mode now. you have to appoint one of your companion as govenor of one of your fiefs and then talk with him, there is a dialogue option that lets you create your kingdom then. #2.
Recruiting enemy lords to your kingdom requires meeting with them, passing persuasion checks (similar to getting married), then paying them a bribe to join your kingdom. Lords that don't own any land are less loyal to their kingdom and easier to persuade. They also join you for a much cheaper bribe than lords who have settlements.
